Trade and shopping are activities that are integrated into the day to day of any tourist visiting the city of London. The commercial hours of the stores in London closely resemble the schedule we keep in Spain. So much so that most stores also open on Sundays, although with a less extensive schedule that does not exceed 5 pm
In general, stores in central London open until 8.30-9.00 pm every day, except on Sundays, which closes sooner. However, shopping centers do extend their opening hours and remain open until 9 or 10 pm.
Visiting hours in Harrods
The most popular shopping center in the city of London is located on Brompton Road, very close to Hyde Park. Its business hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm but on Sundays it also opens doors from 11.30 am until 6 pm. The banks located in the main streets of the city of London have a business schedule that goes from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Also, they open on Saturday mornings and even on Sundays in some particular cases.
Bank branches located on less crowded streets have the same business hours from Monday to Friday but they are not usually open to the public during the weekend.
As for the post offices, these have a business schedule that goes from 9 am to 5.30 pm. In addition, some post offices open on Saturday mornings until 1 pm. This is because in London you can pay the electricity bills or the phone through the post offices.
